Our Company

Established in 2007, Ascent Engineering initially began working as freelance engineering providers for major principle contractors within the UK. However, it was soon apparent that there was a niche gap within the industry for a bespoke civil engineering sub-contractor that would not only deliver a premium quality service, but who were also dedicated to going the extra mile for the customer.

Night time working is always more difficult but your guys always arrived on time and worked tirelessly maintaining full focus on Health and Safety.

Please pass on our thanks to:

General Manager Special Works, Morgan Sindall 28.07.2014

"May I say on behalf of all the Morgan Sindall site team, it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with your company, and your onsite supervisor Dave Hogg, Tony and Sam, who have been so professional, supportive, flexible and obliging. Whilst, I fully appreciate it is extremely difficult to monitor sub-contractors, take into consideration the general public, and satisfy the time restriction of low noise levels for the three tower blocks, virtually sitting on top of the project, however, it would appear all measures have been achieved. During this project I have to congratulate you! Colin, Malachy and Dave on the rate at which all site issues were resolved promptly.

Based on the above I would be only too pleased to welcome your company back on any future projects on behalf of Morgan Sindall special works department.

Once again Paul many thanks for a project well managed."

A robust strategy

Most organisations exaggerate their health and safety systems, but few have a strong strategy to support it. We believe that a system can only be effective if it can be regularly updated to suite the many different types of construction we undertake (we never build the same thing twice) and the ever changing site conditions we face on a daily basis. We have a strategy that aims to:

  • Develop policy to meet corporate client and location expectations
  • Enhance the skills of our staff and workforce
  • Enhance standards and performance through measurement
  • Constantly improve collaborative working and effective communications

Training

Critical to our success is regular on going training. We work closely with our people and suppliers to ensure they have the relevant training and knowledge to produce the work we ask of them. It is essential for Ascent Engineering Ltd to manage, enforce and perpetuate a positive health and safety environment.
